Echoes of the Forest & Solar Panel Handover
Celebrating Nature, Culture, and Clean Energy on World Environment Day
On June 5, 2023, World Environment Day — Desa Genggelang came alive with music, culture, and purpose. ECCO Foundation hosted Echoes of the Forest, a sustainability-themed concert designed to amplify public awareness about the importance of protecting and preserving Indonesia's natural heritage. The concert was held in parallel with the reopening of Rumah Pohon Murmas, a beloved cultural eco-tourism landmark in the village that had long been a symbol of Genggelang's connection to nature and community.
On that same day, ECCO formally handed over EMiTS-donated solar panels to the village officially powering the newly built EV charging station and marking a meaningful milestone in ECCO Foundation's growing commitment to electric mobility and clean energy.
